With brand new renditions of ABBAs epic songs, Matilda sings and tells us about her journey touring some of the biggest stages across the US with the music of ABBA. She has sung “Dancing Queen” more times than ABBA themselves and their music has become a big part of her life, as for many other people - like the enthusiastic ABBA fans..!

 To perform these intimate versions of the songs, she has a string quartet with her on stage and you’ll be in for a night of music, female empowerment, and talks about life and of course - lots of ABBA!

Direct from Sweden, the international recording artist Matilda Lindell presents a unique sound that can only be described as captivating, earnest and unforgettable. In her career she has supported major label and award winning artists with her vocals, fronting several bands and a cappella groups, and has also released albums with her original music. For over a decade she has been touring the US as one of the principal singers in the tribute act “THE CONCERT - a tribute to ABBA” at venues such as the prestigious Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Matilda’s newly released EP is a fascinating deep dive into ABBA, and includes interpretations of a selection of ABBA songs that have brought special meaning to her. “The essence of the songs are there but I have created a new perspective and, I hope, a new emotional journey for the listener” says Matilda. You’ll hear both these new renditions and a few of Matilda’s original songs at the Triad Theatre NYC!
